Terms of service

Version 1 · Effective 5 October 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Ilhan Akbudak, trading as UniChat Games ("UniChat Games", "we", "us"), who make and operate Crate Jam: Slide Puzzle ("Crate Jam"). They cover the game, everything in it, and every service we run behind it: accounts, cloud saves, leaderboards, purchases and support.

Please read them. If you do not agree to them, do not play: the game asks you to accept these terms and our Privacy Policy before it creates an account for you or sends anything from your phone, and there is no way around that on purpose.

1. Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by tapping Agree on the notice the game shows on your first launch. Your phone records which version you accepted and when.

If we change these terms in a way that matters (what you are agreeing to, what we collect, what we may do with your account), we will show you the notice again and ask you to accept the new version. Small corrections that change nothing about your rights will not interrupt you. Every version you may have accepted stays online.

2. Who may play

You must be 13 or older to play Crate Jam.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the permission of a parent or guardian, and by playing you confirm you have it. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has been playing, write to privacy@unichat.dev and we will delete the account and its data.

Crate Jam is not directed to children and is not listed in the App Store's Kids category or in Google Play's Teacher Approved programme.

3. Your account

Crate Jam gives every installation an account automatically once you accept these terms. You never have to sign up, and there is nothing to remember.

  • The automatic account belongs to the app on that phone. If you delete the app without signing in, that account becomes unreachable, including by us, and the progress on it is gone. An automatic account that is not used for 12 months (30 days if nothing was ever played on it) and has no purchase on it is deleted.
  • Game Center on iPhone and Google Play Games on Android, if your phone is signed in to them, make your account durable without a button: your progress survives deleting and reinstalling the app.
  • Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google, in your profile, do the same thing deliberately, and also carry your progress between an iPhone and an Android phone.
  • Signing in to an account you already have moves what the automatic account held into it, and the automatic account is then closed. Rewards the signed-in account already received are not paid twice.

You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not share it, sell it, buy one, or try to take someone else's. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms.

4. Playing fairly

You agree not to:

  • modify the game, its files or its memory, or run it through anything that does;
  • use bots, macros, solvers or automated input to play for you or to farm rewards;
  • exploit a bug for advantage instead of reporting it (if you find one, please write to us);
  • interfere with our servers, try to reach data that is not yours, or test our security without our written permission;
  • choose a display name that is abusive, hateful, sexual, deceptive or impersonates somebody else;
  • copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or redistribute any part of the game, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this clause.

Leaderboard results are verified. When you finish a level, the game sends its moves, and we re-play them on our own servers with the game's own rules. A result only counts on a leaderboard once it reproduces. One that does not is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended.

While the game is new, the leaderboards include computer-made rivals so a board is never empty. They are not real people and do not stand for anyone, they never sell anything or send you anything, and they make way automatically as real players arrive.

5. Coins, hearts, boosters and other virtual items

Virtual items in Crate Jam (coins, stars, hearts, unlimited-hearts time, boosters and anything else you earn or buy) are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the game. They are not your property, they are not money, they have no value outside the game, and they cannot be exchanged for anything outside it.

  • We may add, change, remove or rebalance items, prices, move limits and rewards. Games are tuned after they ship, and a balance change is not a taking of your property.
  • Unlimited hearts you buy run in real time from the moment of purchase, whether or not you are playing, and add on to any window already running.
  • The welcome gift of unlimited hearts for new players is given once per account and once per device, and ends after 3 days or 5 hours of play, whichever comes first.
  • The daily reward and its streak are a free reward for coming back. What each day pays, the milestone rewards, and how a paused streak can be kept are part of the game's balance and may change like any other reward.
  • You may not sell, trade or give away items or accounts, or buy them from anybody but us through the App Store or Google Play.
  • Unused items end when your account is closed or the game is discontinued, and are not refundable at that point.

6. Payments and refunds

On iPhone, purchases are made through Apple's App Store using your Apple Account. On Android, they are made through Google Play using your Google account. We never see or hold your payment details. The store processes the payment and tells us only that a purchase was made and which product it was. We check every purchase with the store on our own servers before we deliver it.

Purchases are delivered as soon as the store confirms them and are, as a rule, final. Requests for a refund go to the store you paid, because it is the merchant of record and we cannot reverse a charge we did not take:

Purchases belong to the account you were signed in to when you made them. If Apple or Google refunds or reverses a purchase, we may remove the items it paid for; your balance is never taken below zero.

None of this removes a right the law gives you. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or anywhere else with a statutory withdrawal or refund right, that right applies. For digital content delivered immediately, the EU right of withdrawal usually ends when delivery begins with your consent, which is what happens when you confirm a purchase, but where it survives we will honour it.

7. The game itself

Everything in Crate Jam (the code, the levels, the art, the music, the writing, the name and the logos) is ours or is used with permission. Third-party assets used under licence are credited in the game.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Crate Jam on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. Nothing here gives you rights to our trademarks, our code or our assets, and you may not use them commercially.

Ordinary let's plays, streams, screenshots and clips are welcome, and you do not need to ask.

8. Feedback

If you send us an idea, a bug report or a suggestion, we may use it without owing you anything for it. Please do not send us anything confidential.

9. Availability, updates and ending the service

We do our best to keep Crate Jam running, and we do not promise that it always will be. Servers go down, Apple and Google change things, and features are sometimes removed because they did not work. The levels themselves always play offline.

  • We may update, change or remove parts of the game at any time.
  • We may end the service. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the game, and we will stop selling anything that could not be used before it closes.
  • You can stop playing whenever you like, and delete your account from Settings, then Delete my account. That removes your progress, your coins and other items, and the data described in the Privacy Policy, and it cannot be undone. Your past leaderboard results stay on the boards without your name, because they are part of other players' rankings. Section 8 of the Privacy Policy explains this, and we will remove them too if you ask.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Crate Jam is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of lost progress, although we work hard at all three, and a lost save is a bug we want to hear about.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost virtual items, progress or profits. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or €50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under any consumer protection law that applies to you. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you keep every statutory right you have, and the paragraphs above apply only so far as that law permits.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the country where you live, and the mandatory consumer law of that country applies to you regardless of this clause.

Before going to court, please write to us. Most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it.

12. The rest

  • If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
  • Not enforcing something once does not waive it.
  • We may transfer these terms to a company that acquires the game; your rights do not change.
  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Crate Jam.
