Help with Crate Jam
Four addresses, so a message lands with the right person. Every one is read by a human, and a note with the level number in it is worth ten without.
- support@unichat.devSomething went wrong: a bug, lost progress, a purchase that did not arrive.
- privacy@unichat.devYour data: a copy of it, a correction, or a deletion.
- request@unichat.devPress, business, creators, and anything you would like us to build.
- legal@unichat.devThe terms, notices, and anything meant for the record.
Reporting a level that went wrong
The most useful reports are about a crate that would not move when it should have, or a level that ended in a way you could not explain. Four things make one fixable:
- The level number, from the top of the screen.
- What you did in the move before it went wrong.
- Your player ID, which your profile shows.
- Your phone, and its iOS or Android version.
A screen recording is worth all four together. Send it to support@unichat.dev.
Common questions
When can I play it?
Crate Jam is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and to Google Play for Android. It will be free to play. Until then, you can try four real levels right here.
Are there ads?
No. There are no ads in Crate Jam and no advertising code in the game. You can buy coins, boosters and unlimited hearts if you want to, but you never have to: every level can be finished without spending anything.
Is every level really solvable?
Yes. Before a level ships, a solver plays every possible move from its start and proves it can be finished, and finds the fewest moves it takes. Each level's move limit comes from that number, with room to spare.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Every level is on your phone and plays with no connection. Your progress syncs the next time you are online.
Will my progress survive a new phone?
On iPhone, Game Center keeps it with your Apple Account; on Android, Google Play Games does the same. To move between an iPhone and an Android phone, open your profile and use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google on both.
How do hearts work?
You have five. Losing a level costs one, and they refill on their own over time, for free. New players get unlimited hearts for their first three days. You can also buy timed unlimited hearts in the shop.
I paid for something and did not get it
First open the shop and tap Restore purchases. If it is still missing, write to support@unichat.dev with the date and what you bought, and it will be put right by hand. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, because the store takes the payment and we never see it: Apple or Google Play.
How do reminders work?
Every reminder is scheduled on your own phone. There is no push server, so nothing about when you play leaves your phone. At most one a day, never between 22:00 and 09:00 your time, and all of them are cancelled the moment you open the game. Turn them off in Settings.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Settings, then Delete my account, and confirm. It closes the account for good, deletes your saved progress and device records, and erases what is on the phone. You can start a fresh game straight away.
No longer have the game? Delete your account by email.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes, from inside the game: Settings, then Export my data saves a file called cratejam-my-data.json you can open or share. For anything it does not cover, write to privacy@unichat.dev.
How old do I have to be?
13 or over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Parents who believe a child under 13 has been playing can write to privacy@unichat.dev, and the account will be deleted.
Can I stream it or put it in a video?
Yes, please. Let's plays, streams, screenshots and clips are welcome and you do not need to ask. For art or an early build, write to request@unichat.dev.
